March 22 COMFORT FOOD .morning all.Well what a change in the weather today,its raining grey and miserable,so things can only get better hopefully hee hee. Just having my cuppa and cornflakes, then ill be ready to face the world. Hope your all having a nice day,cya later LoL x
 March 21 Spring cleaningWhat a lovely day blue skys ,sunshine,what more could we ask for. Days like this make me feel more like cleaning. Throwing the windows open, and generally freshening up the place.Has anyone started there spring cleaning yet?   .I must admit its not been nice weather just lately,but maybe summers just round the corner   .Anyway maybe today i will start spring cleaning.And they say love makes the world go round,so im sending some in my photos so pop in and get some   . Bye for now luv LOL x Just popped back in to say didn't get much cleaning done as my friend called and she had fallen at her house and banged her head ,and wasn't feeling too good. So we spent the afternoon together. She did seem a bit better when she left, which was good.Anyway going to get a cup of tea ,so bye for now .xxMarch 20 Thanks so much. Been too busy this morning.And then delivered a card and chocs for my friends birthday this afternoon. Just looked out of the window and its snowing again,its not too bad when your inside snug and warm though is it. I like to take photos when its been snowing i think it looks beautifull. March 12 MIXED FEELINGSWell its nearly the end of dads day and although its not been easy in some ways its been nice.Took flowers up to the crem with peter.Richards not happy about the crem but he did put money towards flowers for his grandad.Also found myself thinking alot about the times spent with dad, just little silly happy things and also looking through old photographs of him.So yes its been a day of mixed feelings really its hard to believe we have been nearly a year without him, but life goes on as they say.Well going to make a cup of tea ,so bye for now. March 11 MY DADS BIRTHDAY REMEMBRANCEWell tomorrow would have been my dads birthday,but he passed away just short of 12 months ago.Ive spent today thinking alot about him and its really hard to believe hes gone.Its amazing how clearly you can you can see someones face just thinking about them,and how sad it makes you feel,but i also think hes with mum now so hes got to be happy he was so lonely after she died.And then theres all the lovely times you can look back on,all the memories that can never be taken awayand thats what keeps us going i think.Well  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD from me xxxMarch 02 HOUSE RENOVATIONS.I was thinking today does anyone actually enjoy moving house?  .We have moved to 4 different houses since December 2000 and the actuall move never gets any easier its awfull.Please let me have any tips on moving house. You see we have got the renovating houses bug,either that or the romany gypsy bug.We have done new kitchens,bathrooms,porches,loft convertions, pulled walls down,and now we are on with a cellar convertion.which will have open plan livingroom/kitchen,hallway,bathroom,storecuboard and double bedroom.My husband just loves diy,his fave place in all the world im sure is B@Q never happier than when he has hammer screwdriver or paintbrush in his hand. Im sure other wives no what i mean . I have to say i do like choosing colours and all the finishing touches, and seeing things all come together.Then its all been worth all the dirt dust and mess it a great feeling.So if you have any thoughts on this subject please let me know. you can see photos of cellar convertion on my pics .February 26 SPRINGNoticed the snowdrops in the garden this morning and how lovely they have been. we have had hundreds of them .Decided to take a few photos so you could see for yourselves. Hope you like them,a sign that spring is here at last. February 24 Dancing on icewell im back to see if anyone left a comment about ameican idol. And it seems as if i amthe only one who watches and thinks its good.  tonight i have watched dancing on ice which i also enjoy, am i sad with that as well or do other people enjoy it too. Give me a comment on what you think PLEASE someone out there. February 21 mums birthday i miss her. well today has been a bit sad really for me today. it would have been my mums birthday,but unfortunatley she died 11yrs ago from the dreaded c. anyway i took some flowers to the crem and read her verse in the birthday book of remembrance and now feel much better. and after all i do have lots of lovely memories and no one can take them away can they. just had pancakes as we didnt have them yesterday.they are one of my sons favourite foods and life goes on as they say. |
